The Asian Job Placement Program

Market Need

Tourism and Hospitality is one of the fastest growing sectors in the Australian economy. Particularly, the greatest growth in tourism has been from Asia. The need for businesses to be Asia ready is in its highest demand and will continue to grow over the years to come. To help meet this growing demand for multilingual Asian/English speaking employees, FH Hospitality set up the Asian Job Placement Program.

Since late 2010 we have worked closely with some of Victoria's best Hospitality and Tourism companies supplying employees from Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Taiwan. We have successfully placed hundreds of employees in both FOH and BOH positions as waiters, cooks, kitchen stewards and housekeeping.

The companies that have been part of the program to date include: Crown, Eureka 89, Eureka Skydeck, Mantra Hotels, Grand Hyatt and Colonial Tram Car Restaurants.

FH Hospitality is partnered with Australian General Services (AGS) who have offices located in Asia and Australia. Through their strong networks, the recruitment and selection officers employed by AGS seek the best applicants from Universities and Colleges in the Hospitality and Tourism industry. We are able to meet all needs by employers offering job placement all year round as required.

This program is targeted at Asian national youths who wish to have a global experience including study and career achievement. We select candidates who chose Hospitality and Tourism as their career of choice.
